Yesterday was Christmas in Middletown. Well, it felt like it anyway. Of course potters know this means we opened the gas kiln. It had taken a while to fill it and a bunch of it was my stuff so I was anxious to see the results. I was not disappointed. The black and red is Black Plum with Pete's Red poured on thickly. The Shino is Indiana Shino with iron oxide sprinkled on and spritzed with a little water. Thanks for looking.
wonderful pieces and I like all the speckles.
